1. What we collect

We collect the account details you provide (such as name and email), the team and coaching data you enter (roster, schedules, practice plans, playbook, and film references), and basic usage and diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the Service. We collect this information directly from the coaching staff who use the Service.

2. How we use it

We use this information to provide, maintain, and secure the Service, to authenticate you, to communicate with you about your account, and to improve reliability and performance. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Service providers

We rely on a small number of third-party processors to operate CoachScript, including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), and Google (optional sign-in). Each provider processes data only as needed to provide its service to us, under its own terms and security commitments.

4. Youth data

CoachScript is intended for use by adult coaching staff, not by children. Rosters and related records may include information about minors that coaching staff enter to run their team. Access to that information is restricted to the team's authorized members. Coaching staff are responsible for having the appropriate authority or permission to enter information about minors. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. To review, correct, or remove information about a minor, contact us at privacy@coachscript.io or ask your team's staff.

5. Retention

We retain account and team data while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, after which we delete or anonymize it. We may retain limited information where needed to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

6. Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@coachscript.io. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
